Account Manager – Office Based
Location: Mansfield (Office Based)
Salary: £28,000 – £31,000 per year

Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Manager to join a busy internal sales team. Working closely with an External Sales Manager, this office-based role is responsible for managing customers within a designated Northern sales region (from Junction 28 of the M1 up to Leeds).
You will be responsible for handling all enquiries and orders generated within this area, ensuring excellent customer service and supporting sales growth.
Key Responsibilities

Processing daily sales orders received via email and telephone

Keeping customers informed of stock availability and delivery schedules

Managing bespoke stock re-order levels for existing customers

Liaising with external manufacturers to obtain competitive pricing and production lead times

Supporting the External Sales Manager to prioritise and maximise sales growth opportunities

Building strong, long-term relationships with customers through proactive account management
Skills & Experience Required

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Account Management (required)

Proven ability to develop, retain and build customer relationships

Professional telephone manner

Highly organised with a strong commercial mindset

Strong IT skills

Experience using Excel (essential)

Experience using Sage Accounts (beneficial)
