National Apprenticeship Week 2026

​It's National Apprenticeship Week #NAW2026, and today we're hearing from our very own success story - Lacey!

Lacey joined our Newark branch in 2023 to complete a Recruitment Admin Apprenticeship - working and learning on the job, earning a salary, whilst also completing a nationally recognised, Level 3 Business Admin course.

Lacey's time with us didn't end when her course was finished; we offered her a permanent role where she continues to grow and develop (recently starring in a TikTok which resulted in nearly half a million views!). Lacey is now an integral part of our team, and we've no doubt she'll go far in the future!

What made you choose an Apprenticeship?

✨I wanted to gain experience while also learning a qualification. It is also a bonus that you get paid while doing this!

What did you enjoy most about your Apprenticeship?

✨Being involved in the workplace and being trusted with real work. Learning new skills and developing from an apprentice to another role.

Would you recommend an Apprenticeship to others?

✨Yes, it is a great head start into a career, you also learn lots of new skills while completing your course.
