We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner / HR Generalist to join a dynamic, family-run business in Newark. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for employee relations, TUPE transfers, and broader HR operations, offering real opportunities to make an impact across the business.
What you’ll be doing:

Provide advice and guidance on employee relations, including performance management, disciplinary and grievance cases.

Lead and support TUPE transfers, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions.

Partner with managers to deliver HR initiatives, including policy implementation, workforce planning, and recruitment support.

Support organisational change, including restructures and workforce optimisation.

Act as a trusted HR advisor to employees and leaders, ensuring consistent application of policies and employment law.

Manage HR processes, reporting, and compliance with employment legislation.
Who we’re looking for:

Proven experience in employee relations, TUPE, and HR generalist activities.

CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.

Strong understanding of employment law, HR policies, and best practice.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence at all levels.

Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment is desirable.
