SALES ADMINISTRATOR

Are you an experienced Sales Administrator with a background in order processing, invoicing, and exports?

We’re working with a well-established manufacturing business based in Grantham looking to recruit a Sales Administrator to join their close-knit operations team.

You’ll be responsible for end-to-end sales administration — from order processing and export documentation through to invoicing and customer communication. This is a key role in a small team of two, where attention to detail, independence, and a proactive approach are essential.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Process all sales orders and invoices efficiently and accurately
  • Manage shipping and carrier bookings, negotiating the best rates
  • Ensure all documentation (including export docs and proofs of delivery) is correct and compliant
  • Communicate with internal teams to meet order and production deadlines
  • Maintain and update customer records, both UK and overseas
  • Respond to emails and customer queries promptly to ensure excellent service
  • Review and approve shipping invoices and monitor SOPs
  • File, scan, and maintain accurate sales and customs records (via Lakeview)
  • Run month-end reports and assist with general admin tasks for the Sales Director

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a Sales Administration role
  • Strong knowledge of order processing, invoicing, and export procedures
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to pick up processes quickly
  • Ability to work independently in a quiet, task-focused environment
  • A steady, self-motivated individual who takes ownership of their work
