£14.00 – £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
We are currently recruiting an experienced MIG / TIG Coded Welder for a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Newark. This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder looking for stable, full-time work with consistent hours.
Role Overview
As a MIG / TIG Coded Welder, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality welding work on a range of metal components while ensuring all work meets required specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing MIG and TIG welding on a variety of materials including mild steel and stainless steel
- Working from technical drawings and engineering specifications
- Ensuring all welds meet quality and coding standards
- Carrying out inspection of completed welds to ensure structural integrity
- Preparing materials and components prior to welding
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting production teams to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Previous experience as a MIG and TIG Welder
- CSCS Card
- Working at hight
- Coded welding qualifications preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Experience working within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
