We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer on behalf of our client based in Worksop. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-speed process environment, working independently to maintain production and minimise downtime.
The Role
You will be working on a rotational 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, covering both days and nights. The role involves lone working on a fast-paced site, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and prioritising tasks to ensure continuous production.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical maintenance and fault-finding on a high-speed process site

Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns, minimising downtime

Ensure Safe Working Procedures (SWPs) are adhered to at all times, reporting any issues promptly to the Site Manager, Engineering Manager, and Compliance Manager

Ensure the correct PPE is used at all times and notify the Engineering Manager of any requirements

Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping, promoting a clean-as-you-go culture

Manage effective shift handovers to ensure continuity of production

Communicate site issues and breakdowns clearly to incoming shifts and management

Complete shift reports and email them to Engineering and Production Management at the end of each shift
About You

Qualified Electrical Engineer (industrial/manufacturing background preferred)

Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Safety-focused with a proactive approach to housekeeping and compliance
Interview Process
Please note that candidates will be required to complete both an electrical and mechanical test as part of the interview process.
