Maintenance Engineer – Grantham
£42,500 - £43,500 | Tues - Sat Nights either 6pm–3am or 8pm - 5pm
We’re on the lookout for a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a busy recycling and waste processing site in Grantham. You’ll be the go to person for reactive and planned maintenance on a range of machinery — conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, and everything in between.
There’s some electrical work involved too, so we’re after someone who’s not afraid to get stuck in and turn their hand to a bit of everything.
What we’re looking for:
- Ideally Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year’s experience working on industrial plant or heavy machinery
- Good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic welding experiece would be a bonus
- A practical problem solver who enjoys working as part of a team
Shift pattern:
Tuesday - Saturday 42.5 hours per week working either – 6pm–3am or 8pm - 5pm shift.

This role would suit: Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Fitter, or anyone with solid experience in plant maintenance.
