Salary: £25,875 per annum
About the Role:
We’re currently recruiting for a Contract Co-ordinator to join a leading organisation within the utilities and infrastructure sector, based in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s highly organised, detail-focused, and confident working in a busy, fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for administering and monitoring local and regional contracts, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with performance targets. This role involves working closely with multiple teams to plan, schedule, and deliver essential operational activities while maintaining strong relationships with contractors and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor the performance of regional and local contracts
- Prepare annual service schedules and expenditure forecasts
- Schedule and coordinate work with internal teams and contractors
- Issue permits and organise site access for technicians
- Monitor and track contractor movements, performance, and compliance
- Resolve day-to-day issues with contract delivery and service performance
- Ensure all Health & Safety, environmental, and personnel standards are met
- Prepare SAP requisitions and verify invoices against completed work
- Report on performance against KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives
About You:
- Strong administrative and coordination skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Confident communicating with contractors and internal teams
- Experience in scheduling, project support, or contract administration (advantageous)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a bonus
