Ambitions are pleased to announce that we have successfully become a registered supplier on the widely-recognised Achilles Utilities Vendor Database Service (UVDB).
What is the UVDB?
The UVDB was created by Achilles to allow utility companies and suppliers to seek out contracts from pre-qualified and audited suppliers. It also allows suppliers to identify new contract opportunities, connect with buyers across the utility sector and showcase their capabilities.
In today’s climate, it’s increasingly important for businesses to have more visibility and transparency within their supply chain. The UVDB stands to reduce risks and offer more control to buyers.
To register with the UVDB, suppliers, like Ambitions, must evidence that their processes and services are of the highest standard through the pre-qualification questionnaire.
What does the UVDB mean to Ambitions?
Firstly, gaining UVDB registration is a great measure of our policies, procedures, and of the services we offer. Along with our other accreditations, it acts as another ‘rubber stamp’ to demonstrate that we operate to a certain standard.
Secondly, it means that we can continue to supply our recruitment services to existing clients within the UK utility industry and also build further relationships within this sector.
