I have a temporary ongoing Stores Administrator role based in Ashbourne. Free transported is provided.

If you have Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, good Literacy and numeracy skills, confident with IT Skills and knowledge of inventory management techniques then this could be a role for you.

What the client would desire is Engineering stores knowledge, proven background in stock control and computerised inventory systems, familiar with CMMS and SAP and familiar with Engineering, mechanical and electrical processes. But if you don’t have any of this it does not matter as full training will be given, so all they are looking for is someone who wants to learn.

Your main duties will include:

  • Issuing of spares to work order requirements
  • Accurate cycle counting
  • Maintain the re-ordering system as required and proposing changes to order points
  • Communicate stock shortages in a timely manner to ensure stock levels are maintained to the agreed level
  • To ensure the stores area is kept in a clean and tidy manner
  • Receive and receipt goods into the department and make sure delivery note matches purchase order.  To highlight any discrepancies in the appropriate manner (carrying out Marfrig corporate governance role D – Inventory, with respect to Purchase to Pay Cycle – Goods and Services) 
  • Despatch items for repair as and when required
  • Process work orders within the department when required
  • Carry out driving duties as requested to support the department (and site if required)
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested
  • Issue relevant stock movement reports in the absence of the purchasing controller

This role is Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30.
