Turbocharger Remanufacturing Technician

Ambitions Personnel is delighted to be recruiting for a Turbocharger Remanufacturing Technician to join our client’s skilled and dedicated team in Ollerton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong mechanical skills and a keen eye for detail to build a rewarding career in engineering and remanufacturing.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the complete remanufacture and testing of a wide range of turbochargers — including automotive, LCV, truck, bus, plant, and off-highway units.
Following established quality processes, you’ll work across various stages including strip & clean, machining, assembly, testing, and despatch.

Key Duties

  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, rebuild, and test turbochargers to the highest standards.

  • Complete ‘Strip & Survey Reports’ and ensure component traceability for MoD projects.

  • Evaluate the commercial viability and availability of parts before commencing work.

  • Carry out routine maintenance and ensure all equipment and tools are well-maintained.

  • Follow strict quality procedures and record all work accurately.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

  • Support other departments and complete ad-hoc tasks as required.
