We’re recruiting on behalf of a large, fast-paced organisation currently going through an exciting period of transformation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and growing HR team as they support the integration of several business units into one cohesive structure.
We’re looking for a detail-driven and experienced HR & Payroll Administrator to join the People Services team on a temporary basis, with potential longer-term opportunities for the right candidate.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of a central HR Operations team, you'll work within a helpdesk environment responding to internal tickets raised by managers. These may include:

Changes to employee personal details

Payroll-related queries (e.g. pay discrepancies, unpaid employees)

Generating amendment and employment confirmation letters

Supporting payroll with basic transactional tasks on Mondays

Maintaining accurate data across various HR and time/attendance systems
Systems used include SAP, ResourceLink, TMS, Chronos, and Open Options – so comfort working across multiple platforms is key.
What a Typical Day Looks Like

Logging into the HR helpdesk and prioritising incoming tickets

Processing employee changes and issuing relevant letters

Running regular system reports and extracting key data

Liaising with payroll to resolve pay queries and ensure accuracy

Collaborating with managers to escalate and resolve more complex issues

Ensuring meticulous record-keeping and data integrity
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
-
HR administration, or payroll background essential
-
OR experience in purchase ledger/accounts payable using large systems
-
Confident using multiple systems with a focus on detail and accuracy
Skills & Qualities:

Strong administrative and data entry skills
-
Working knowledge of SAP, TMS or other HRIS platforms

Meticulous attention to detail

Organised, methodical and proactive problem-solver

Clear written and verbal communication skills
You’ll work closely with the internal HR and Payroll teams and report directly to the HR Business Partner for People Services. The role offers great exposure to a business undergoing a significant transition and would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment.
