Field Service Engineer – Travel the UK & Get Hands-On

Monday to Wednesday – travel across the UK; Thursday and Friday – work from home. The perfect balance of adventure and flexibility.

A Level 3 Electrical Qualification is essential, as you’ll be working with complex electrical systems, carrying out maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring all work meets strict safety standards.

We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a fast-growing, award-winning team. You’ll be visiting client sites, keeping high-tech systems running smoothly, and making a real impact. Hotels, road trips, and hands-on problem-solving included.

Your duties:

  • Service, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of systems
  • Carry out installations, replacements, and remedial work when needed
  • Check system performance, from control units to pumps and storage devices
  • Flag opportunities for upgrades and additional services to our sales team
  • Explain technical info to clients in a clear, friendly way

What You Bring:

  • Level 3 electrical qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility to travel the UK and stay away from home up to 3 nights per week (we cover hotels and food!)
  • Solid technical skills, attention to detail, and great communication
  • A can-do attitude, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work both independently and in a team

Extra Points If You’ve Got:

  • Experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance or installation
  • Construction or technical services background
