Job Purpose
The Fabricator Welder will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and welding of metal components to meet project specifications and quality standards. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, working with various metals, and ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to fabricate components accurately.

Weld, cut, and assemble metal parts using MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques.

Fabricate structural steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components as required.

Conduct quality checks on fabricated products to ensure compliance with specifications.

Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work area in a clean and safe condition.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to meet deadlines.

Follow health and safety procedures, including PPE usage and risk assessments.

Keep accurate records of materials used, time taken, and work completed.

Assist with site installation of fabricated components when required.
Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Fabricator and Welder in a workshop or on-site environment.

Welding certifications (MIG/TIG/Arc) desirable.

Strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques and machinery.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Awareness of health and safety regulations in a fabrication environment.
