Job Title: Fabrication, Laser Cutting & Folding Manager

Location: Draycott (moving to Ilkeston)

We are a leading innovator and manufacturer of automated, high-technology equipment with a global customer base. Due to growth, we’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Fabrication Department Manager to take charge of our laser, folding, and fabrication section — and help us continuously raise the bar.

We only cut stainless steel, and we pride ourselves on running one of the cleanest, most advanced laser shops in the industry.

What we’re looking for

You’re the right fit if you are an experienced Section Leader with proven leadership skills and a passion for precision engineering.

✔ Highly skilled stainless steel TIG welder/fabricator
✔ Strong experience in setting and operating Laser Cutting & Press Brake machines
✔ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
✔ Confident in visual quality checking of components
✔ Track record of running safe, efficient, and well-organised teams
✔ Excellent planning, communication, and leadership skills
✔ A strong work ethic, team spirit, and the ability to lead by example
✔ Adaptable and driven by continuous improvement
