Interpret and work from technical drawings, and specifications
-
Cut, shape and join aluminium profiles using saws, grinders, drills etc. (no welding required)

Operate industrial cutting, bending and drilling machinery and undertaking the required machine checks daily
-
Undertake machine maintenance at the required intervals such as swapping out components, greasing, oiling etc.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the specification and drawings and internal quality standards. This includes ensuring swarf free products.

Build up large scale projects in house first to ensure everything fits together and to the required dimensions. To then disassemble these structures ready for packaging.

Work in compliance t company health and safety polices/procedures in accordance with the HSE

Collaborate with other team member and departments to meet project deadlines
-
Keep working areas tidy at all times and ensuring full clean down of work stations at the end of each day

Collect materials from various storage locations onsite for the manufacture of products and to advise when certain stock is getting low
-
Tagging/marking finished products with the correct labelling format for easy shipping and installation by others.

Packaging products as required to prevent damage during transportation and to reduce health and safety issues in handling products.

Proven experience in a similar role

Proficiency in readying diagrams/drawings and interpreting project requirements

Good maths skills and understanding how to calculate angles, lengths, profiles, radials of different shapes

Good physical fitness and ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy materials
-
Strong attention to detail and craftmanship

Reliable, punctual and being able to work independently and as a team.
