Get steady hours and reliable pay while working on the road rather than being stuck in a warehouse.
You’ll be out making deliveries and staying active, which means no two days will feel the same. You’ll also be working for a well-known household brand, which adds to your CV and opens up more career options down the line.
Your schedule will give you a good work-life balance, with a shift pattern of five days on and three days off. That means regular weekends off and plenty of time to recharge.
There’s also the chance to upskill and increase your earning potential by training to drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle. That’s a clear path to earning more and taking on even bigger deliveries.
What you’ll do
You’ll be delivering and installing white goods across the local area. This gives you the chance to be out and about, meet different people and stay active while on the job.
You’ll also take ownership of ensuring your deliveries are completed on time and in good condition, which helps build your reliability and professionalism. Plus, you’ll be representing the brand, giving you valuable customer-facing experience.
What you’ll need
- A full UK or EA driving licence with no more than six penalty points
- Must have been a delivery driver in the last 6 months
- The ability to handle heavy stock, as some deliveries include bulky items like fridges and washing machines
- A passion for customer service, as you’ll be the face of the company for many people
- A manual driving licence, as the vehicle is manual
About the company
The business is a recognised name in the electrical appliance retail sector in the UK, which means you’ll be working for a brand that customers know and trust. This can make your job easier and also adds weight to your CV for future moves.
