At Ambitions Personnel there is a lot to celebrate this year, with big developments to our Training Division and internal apprenticeship opportunities.

Rachel Graham – Division Manager, Ambitions Training

In January 2019, Rachel Graham, joined Ambitions Training as Division Manager, with a previous two decades in recruitment and professional training services.

Ambitions Training offers both commercial and funded training courses to private companies and individuals. Within her role, Rachel is responsible for working with our partners to provide a selection of training solutions including; Food Safety, Warehousing, Emergency First Aid, NVQs and Apprenticeships.

“We work with businesses who are interested in employing an apprentice or those who see the benefit of upskilling their workforce by offering an apprenticeship to existing staff."

"Providing training for your existing team and new members of staff boosts moral. It proves to your employees that you value them and want them to have the right tools and knowledge to do the job that they are in presently and prepare them for progression. Training is shown to be a bridge to employee satisfaction which leads to staff retention.”

Cheila Loucao – Team Leader, Ambitions Personnel

Cheila joined Ambitions Personnel back in 2010, and over the last ten-years she has supported Ambitions in a range of roles including Administration, Recruitment and Resourcing.

While continuing to work full-time, Cheila is also undertaking an apprenticeship to gain her REC Level 3 – NVQ Diploma in Recruitment (QCF).

“Ambitions Personnel offered me this opportunity and it is providing me with the knowledge to improve my performance in my current role and for future progression. It means a lot that over the years Ambitions has continued to invest in me. I have now completed 3 REC qualifications. I feel valued and it’s a real privilege to be selected."

"Ambitions are very accommodating and will give me the time I need to complete my qualification. I would absolutely recommend an apprenticeship to other people, as it is great to have external training and support. REC is the best at delivering training, specifically Andy Cain – he has been extremely supportive over the years. It is the best training I have received so far in my career.”

AN UPSKILLED WORKFORCE BENEFITS ALL

Ambitions Personnel is celebrating National Apprenticeship Week by advocating the career-defining opportunities provided through apprenticeship schemes, at any stage of a career.

But, it’s a double celebration this week as Cheila has been promoted to Team Leader while completing another apprenticeship!

Congratulations, Cheila, and thank you for all your hard work!
