Job Title: Yard Operative

Location: Bourne
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Rate: £12.54 per hour

Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm

About the Role:

Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join their team in Bourne. This role involves supporting day-to-day yard operations, handling materials efficiently, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Sorting and grading metal
Operating a counter balance FLT
Painting as required
General housekeeping and yard maintenance
Picking line cover duties
Pressure washing equipment and yard areas
Performing general yard duties as needed

Requirements:

Previous experience in yard work, metal handling, or similar industrial environments preferred
Valid Counter Balance FLT License
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
Strong attention to safety and housekeeping standards
