Are you a passionate talker? Are you passionate about sales? My client in Derby is seeking an enthusiastic Telemarketer to generate sales in a fast-paced, but friendly team. This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be working Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch. You will also have 15 minute morning break and 15 minute afternoon break. On top of this you will get a competitive salary and commission.
You will be a confident talker, with the ability to cold-call or answering requests in a fast-paced environment in order to influence existing or potential customers to buy products or services. You must have the ability of understanding the customer's requirements in a short-time. You must be resilient and cool-tempered in order to deal with aggressiveness and complaints.
You will be responsible for:
- Cold Call people using an existing list of clients to sell products.
- Answer incoming calls and dealing with complaints.
- Using marketing materials to give information to customers about products prices, etc. and present their benefits.
- Influence and persuade the customer to buy the products by demonstrating how the products and services meet their needs.
- Record the customer’s personal details accurately in the database.
- Go the extra mile to ensure future sales.
- Log all calls and complaints.
In order to be successful in this role you will:
- Have proven experience as a telemarketer or similar sales/customer service roles.
- Proven record of meeting sales quotas over the phone.
- Working knowledge of computer programs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Skilled in negotiation.
- Resilient in dealing with complaints.
- Patient and able to handle rejection.
