My Client is currently looking for somebody who is willing to learn all of the ropes of the job and who is wanting to work their way up!
Key responsibilites would include working closely with the Team Leader, Shift Quality Auditor and the Shift Leader on a daily basis to ensure that quality standards are met to ensure product legaility, quality and safety. It is also important that the right candidate can take full responsibility for their actions, to ensure hat all relecant quality control papaerwork is being filled in, checked and signed off correctly, including metal detection, cintex calibration, label checks, weight checks, temperature checks, collecting three packs from each consignment number packed for shelf life samples labelling them up as 'shelf life' with the consignment number and depot day recorded on the bag. Ensure that all products are packed to within the customer specification and that you work closely with the Team Leaders and Operators to ensure nil error and to maintain high quality standards. You will also be responsible for the smooth operations of each of your shifts ensuring all relevant line pre start checks have been carried out and signed off etc.
The right individual must have experience in similar role and preferably in food industry although this is not essential. Good team work, being adaptable and flexible, having good literacy and numeracy skills will make this role a lot easier!
A Technical Operator is responsible for promoting the positive image of the Client in order to ensure the continued development of the organisation.
Rate of pay is: £9.28 per hour and overtime (paid after 77 hours completed in a fortnight) is £11.60.
