We are recruiting for a Team Leader/QA to cover maternity, however there will be a QA position when the maternity period ends.
You will be managing and leading a team, communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to them as well as covering the QA role when required, routine quality assurance testing and monitoring throughout the manufacturing process and ensure all admin is being completed and all information on product quality is continually fed back to the production team.
You will motivating the team and ensuring good performance, you will be responsible for the staff’s training and development and you will need to keep management updated on your team performance.
You’ll be ensuring that the staff and equipment are ready at the start of shift and changeovers. You’ll implement daily production plans, organise staff and ensure hygiene standards are followed to the highest levels.
You will have proven team Leadership Experience, Product Knowledge and Industry Experience, Leadership Skills, Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills, Motivational Skills, Results-Oriented, Employee Training Experience and Strong Relationship Building as well as some QA experience in a food production environment.
The hours of work for the team leader position is Wednesday 06:00-14:00 & Thursday to Saturday from 06:00-18:00 and for the QA role is based on a panama shift pattern of 2 on/ 2 off/ 3 on/ 2 off/ 2 on/ 3 off from 06:00-18:00
