We are currently recruiting for our reputable client, a full-time Stores Person with previous experience of materials handling, stock control, kit preparation and despatch within the electronics industry to join the team in Clipstone, near Mansfield.
Responsibilities include:
- Receiving all deliveries and checking goods received.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding deliveries and discrepancies in stock.
- Keeping detailed records.
- Updating the ERP/MRP system as required.
- Stock checking, cycle counting plus annual stock take.
- Progress chasing of parts due in.
- Raising kits of parts for production.
- Picking and packing of finished goods for despatch.
- Despatching finished goods to customers in the UK and overseas.
- Maintaining a clean and tidyStores, Goods in and Despatch areas.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Good IT skills and a working knowledge of Inventory Management systems.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to work methodically and efficiently.
- Ability to use loading and unloading equipment.
- Teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
Full UK drivers licence essential.
Rate of Pay by negotiation and short-listed candidates contacted only.
