Role Description
The role of a Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating social media campaigns and the day-to-day management of the company’s social media properties. This role will take ownership for the management of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok channels, and will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting of all organic social content.
This role requires an experienced content creative, who will be capturing content on live events, editing assets for use across organic social, as well as repurposing and maximizing of utilization of content produced by the rest of Marketing / Creative teams. The social media manager will play a vital role in brand partnerships and the daily management of social communities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Expert knowledge of all leading social media sites, including their algorithms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
- Experience with social media management tools, such as Hootsuite or Buffer
- Demonstrated ability to create effective social media content that drives engagement
- Experience with social media analytics and metrics
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with graphic design and/or video editing is a plus
- A passion for the beauty and fragrance industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
