The Role -
- To lead the sites maintenance departments in providing reactive and planned proactive maintenance on all operations equipment and facilities infrastructure.
- Provide hands on support and help with all maintenance issues.
- To increase site operational effectiveness, manage and implement improvement plans, driving KPI’s.
- Manage the team on best practice, policies and procedures.
The Person -
- Strong in personality, with the ability to secure the respect of peers and subordinates alike.
- Experience in complex heavy industrial environments including large mobile plant and equipment
- Commercially minded, able to balance cost Vs return
- Offer ingenuity in problem solving
- Driven to improve plant performance at all times
- Strong management skills to balance responsibilities and priorities
Qualifications & Experience -
- Manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred, or HND, BTEC Professional Level 5 Award or equivalent NVQ Level %
- Extensive plant level experience with significant proven man management experience.
- Completed a full apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical or electronic discipline
