This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of ambitions personnel who are acting as an employment agency. 

Office hours 8.30am - 5pm Monday – Friday Site times will vary although you will be expected to carry out a minimum of 40 hours per week

Our Client is an industry leading organisation dedicated to the design and manufacture of bespoke rainwater systems. Operating since early 2000, they have built a reputation for providing exceptional levels of customer care and prides itself on its unique and tailored system design and sound technical knowledge.

Their portfolio of clients includes HM Prison service, leading supermarket chains, local authorities and universities.

They have a vibrant team of engineers, estimators, sales and technical consultants and is led by a driven Directorship team, all focused on the growth of the business. Everyone works closely together and collaborate on projects from the tender stage through to completion and maintenance.

This is a full time position based on the outskirts of Newark, however this role involves over night stays.

 

The Role:

Service systems and produce reports for clients

Attend technical site visits

Install equipment when required to ensure system is operational

Remedial and upgrade work as required

Technical reports following site visits, maintenance visits or any other site visit

To raise opportunities for sales of additional items, tank cleans or other services, including maintenance, at any point during the installation or maintenance process/report

Responsibility for own Health and Safety in accordance with the law when on site and in the workshop (training provided)

Assisting with stock counts and maintaining suitable van stock

Carrying out admin work relating to all work activities

Ability to maintain customer relations post installation and on site

 

Person Specification:

Electrical qualifications are an advantage

Knowledge of pumps and control systems helpful

Computer literate with experience of the basic Microsoft packages

Understanding of Health & Safety at a work

Happy to work towards CSCS, working at heights and working in confined spaces qualifications, if not already achieved

 

Benefits:

Nationwide travel occasionally required

£10.50/hr whilst training (3 to 6 month) - £22,000

 Potential for increase when training complete

Travelling to and from site is paid for as part of the hourly rate

20 days holidays per year plus 8 bank holidays

Additional holiday can be accrued after 2 full years service up to a maximum of 25 days per year
