We’re recruiting for a Technical Sales Office Manager to join a long-established, family-run engineering business with a down-to-earth culture and strong values. This is a key role reporting to the COO, working across the business to drive sales growth, improve processes, and support both office and field teams.

The Role
- Lead, motivate, and develop a sales office team of 6, supporting 4 BDMs in the field
- Work closely with engineers, welders, and CAD designers to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee quotations, technical sales support, and customer enquiries
- Implement process improvements and drive efficiency across sales operations
- Support new business development, entering new markets and maintaining relationships with corporate and distribution clients
- Ensure accurate costing, PQQ/tender submissions, and management of construction contracts
- Produce reports on revenue, forecasts, and KPIs for the leadership team
- Manage day-to-day staff matters, including absence, performance, coaching, and team communication
- Maintain compliance with health and safety policies and company procedures
