I am currently looking for a Sales Administrator to join our successful and growing company in Newark. The role requires an individual who is professional, organised and is a quick learner. A positive personality and a flexible approach is important because the Sales Administrator is part of a small unit where there is emphasis on a team ethos.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Be one of the first points of customer contact for the business
- Contribute to the development of the company sales and marketing administration activities. (Our administration requires a degree of technical and product knowledge which will e taught to the new employee)
- Ensure that the sales inquiry process is conducted in a timely manner that meets internal procedures and promotes customer satisfaction
- Follow up business leads using our dedicated lead forensic database
- Providing a high level of customer service / customer management
- Sales administration, filing and record keeping
- Order processing and quotations
- Liaising with customers and subcontractors
- Project management; ensuring projects and all involved parties are kept up to date with lead times, delivery dates and required paperwork
Candidate Specification
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly personality
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and administrative skills and experience (Word/Excel/Outlook/Sage)
- Ambitious and professional
- Team player that is keen to progress
Working hours are Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
