Sales Account Manager

We’re looking for a proactive Maintenance Sales Account Manager to join a growing team based on the outskirts of Newark. You’ll play a key role in protecting and expanding the customer base, securing recurring business, and identifying new opportunities within an industry that’s becoming more important than ever.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own the full sales cycle – from first contact and proposals to contract signing and ongoing account management.
  • Manage your client portfolio – building strong, long-term relationships and acting as their trusted point of contact.
  • Retain customers & secure renewals – understand challenges, identify improvements, and ensure a seamless experience every year.
  • Generate sales & leads – secure new and renewed maintenance contracts, upsell and cross-sell where appropriate, and work to achieve KPIs.
  • Become an expert – build strong technical knowledge of systems, services, and the wider industry.

What we’re looking for

Sales & negotiation skills

  • Proven track record of delivering sales results and increasing revenue.
  • Skilled in negotiation and confident in closing deals.

Customer service excellence

  • Strong relationship-building skills and a professional communication style.
  • Ability to deliver outstanding, consistent customer service.

Motivated & enthusiastic

  • A team player with drive, organisation, and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently, think on your feet, and perform well under pressure.

Essential experience

  • Demonstrable sales achievements.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Strong competence with Microsoft Office.
