We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Controller to work for our client based in Bottesford on a temporary to permanent basis after 3 months.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the role will involve working closely with the production function to carry out routine quality assurance testing and monitoring throughout the manufacturing process and ensure all admin is being completed and all information on product quality is continually fed back to the production team.
This is a position of significant responsibility and accountability; the ideal candidate will have experience working within food manufacturing, have a good working knowledge of HACCP and have previous experience as a Quality Controller.
Essentially the Quality Controller will be an excellent communicator with a good standard of spoken and written English, be organised and be able to multi-task, have good computer knowledge and skills and have their own transport to get there.

Your daily duties will include calibrating scales and metal detectors; compliance; data inputting; preparing sample kits; organising product samples; metal detection; sampling of products and manage product retests.
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 07:15 -16:00 and Fridays 05:15 to 14:00 with opportunity for overtime on Saturdays. An element of flexibility is required to cover additional hours when the business requires.
