Purchase Ledger/Accounts Assistant

Do you have experience with Purchase Ledger? Keen eye for detail? Do you have a background as an Accounts Assistant?

As the Purchase ledger/accounts assistant you will be working full time, Monday- Friday for a long-established family owned company who have been around for many years, with some long serving members of staff.

Duties will include but not be limited to:-

  • The timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, credit notes, payments and any other authorised transaction into the accounts payable ledger
  • Match invoices to purchase orders/GRNI where appropriate
  • Reconciliation of purchase ledger accounts
  • Process daily banking
  • Post daily bank statement
  • Reconcile Petty Cash

Alongside many other duties you will also carry strong PC skills and the ability to work under pressure.
