We are recruiting for a Production Manager to work on the day to day operations at our clients site in Grantham. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of production and managing a team of people across multi-shift departments being able to meet production targets is critical.
Duties:
·Be responsible for maximising production output across all departments
·Manage production in line with quality standards and performance targets
·Develop a culture of continuous improvement
·Ensure you have the right skills to meet or exceed production targets
·Provide training and development to team members to ensure they perform efficiently
·Be responsible for motivating the teams, working closely with the Shift Manager
·Ensure all site standards are consistently maintained
·Provide strong leadership through communication
·Work in a consistent safe way adhering to all Health & Safety Standards
What we’re looking for…
·Strong leadership and people development experience
·Must have the ability to work on own initiative and make decisions quickly and efficiently
·Excellent planning and organisational skills
·Have WAMITAB Levels 3 or 4 (Good understanding of the WEEE industry & BATRAT)
·Must be an excellent communicator at all levels
·Must have a good knowledge of Compliance
