We are supporting one of the UK's largest flower suppliers in recruiting PPT Drivers for their state-of-the-art facility located between Peterborough and Huntingdon. The company supplies many of the UK's leading retailers with cut flowers, and naturally, this is a busy time of year.
Your role will be to move products from stores to the production line and finished products from the line to despatch. You'll need to work quickly but safely to ensure the timely movement of stock around the site.
We're able to accept people with either an accredited or in-house license, in which case you'll be given an in-house conversion. Either way, you'll need to have experience and be a confident and competent PPT driver.
Shifts consist of 12-hour day and night shifts on a rota covering seven days a week. You'll therefore need to be able to work any day of the week.
The pay rates are as below:
Days - £11.75 per hour - £14.69 overtime rate
Nights - £14.69per hour, £18.36 overtime rate
Perfect PPT Driver candidate will have a valid PPT License.
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
Transport is available from Peterborough but the site is very easy to reach from the A1 and has lots of free parking. In addition, there is a canteen selling a range of subsidized food.
