You will work as a Payroll Advisor, doing weekly and monthly payroll for around 1000 employees working within a team of 4 supported by a systems specialist and a team of 3 people service advisors / HR professionals.
You will have to have full payroll experience as you will have responsibility for all aspects of the payroll from start to finish, including:
- Payroll processing for weekly and monthly employees
- Dealing with payroll queries
- Ensuring all HMRC submissions are sent on time
- Processing all starters and leavers
- Auto-enrolment and RTI submission
- Pension contribution
- Processing attachment of earnings, SSP, SMP, paternity pay, and holidays
- General admin duties associated with payroll and HR
You must have strong weekly and monthly payroll experience and use of the iTrent system would be highly advantageous but not essential.
System implementation experience is desirable but not essential.
