I am looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a diverse and busy work environment. Applicants are required to be electrically biased with mechanical skills.
You will work Monday to Friday 8-hour shifts on a rotating shift pattern from 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00
Duties include:
- Reactive maintenance across the site to ensure optimal performance
- Ensure that machinery downtime is kept to a minimum and that all maintenance is conducted in advance to avoid production disruption
- Work collaboratively with the engineering team, supporting and identifying means of improving plant productivity
- Ensure that any spare parts, materials, and equipment are available
- Able to investigate and establish the causes of all breakdowns and machinery speed losses and record any repairs to ensure recurrent faults can be recognised
- Completing all relevant documentation to a high standard
- Basic facility and site service maintenance when required
Experience:
- Electrical Engineering: 2 years (preferred)
- Mechanical Engineering: 2 years (preferred)
Requirements for this position are a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is preferred, but not essential as a client would consider “time served” as experience.
Knowledge and experience in a production-driven environment.
