Are you hands-on, mechanically minded, and love getting stuck into engines? We’re on the lookout for a Strip and Clean Motor Parts Technician to join a growing team of specialists. If you have experience in engine work, production, or mechanical assembly – this could be the perfect next step in your career.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Dismantling Engines: Carefully strip down motor parts from engines and machinery, ensuring components are labelled, tracked, and handled with precision.

  • Cleaning & Degreasing: Use manual and mechanical methods (including ultrasonic cleaning, pressure washing, or scrubbing) to restore parts to top condition by removing grease, grime, and carbon buildup.

  • Inspection: Identify wear or damage during the cleaning process and report findings for repair or replacement.

  • Recording & Labelling: Keep accurate records of every part cleaned and inspected. Properly label and organize components for reassembly.

  • Safe Working: Follow strict safety procedures when handling tools, machinery, and cleaning agents.

  • Quality Focus: Uphold high standards to ensure every part meets company cleanliness and usability specifications.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience in mechanical, automotive, production, or similar roles is highly beneficial.

  • Mechanical Knowledge: Comfortable with tools and able to identify motor parts.

  • Attention to Detail: Spot issues others might miss during inspection.

  • Physical Fitness: Able to handle heavy components and remain active on your feet.

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with cleaning tools and techniques (manual & machine-assisted).

  • Safety Awareness: Understand safe handling of chemicals and equipment.

  • Organisational Skills: Keep your workspace tidy and parts properly stored and tracked.
