If you’re a material controller and your keen on a fresh start then this maybe the job for you.
This is a varied role and no two days will be the same. You will be responsible for maintaining and reviewing stock levels to achieve maximum stock turnover, and target levels at a minimum organisational cost.
Using excel you will monitor usage patterns taking into account production fluctuations to ensure that accurate forecasting can be achieved.
Using an MRP system you will identify current and future requirements so that forecast schedules can be formulated and issued to suppliers.
Based in Mansfield you will look at stock availability, stock control, deliveries, invoices queries and maintenance and creation of billing.
Ideally you will have an understanding of timber manufacturing, but even without one this may open the door to your new career.
