Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking. This role is crucial in ensuring that our IT systems run smoothly and efficiently, providing timely support to users and resolving technical issues as they arise.

Duties

  • Provide first-line support for IT-related issues via help desk channels, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems, including operating systems and desktop support.
  • Assist users with computer networking issues, ensuring connectivity and functionality across devices.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests using ticketing systems such as Jira or Remedy.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and develop solutions to improve overall IT support processes.
  • Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide clear instructions for problem resolution.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices in IT support.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an IT support role.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Proficiency in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Office 365 etc) and desktop applications.
  • Knowledge of computer networking principles is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
