Join a Leading Independent Insurance Broker as a Household Insurance Account Handler

We’re excited to be partnering with a reputable, well-established independent Insurance Broker in search of a skilled Household Insurance Account Handler to join their close-knit team. Specialising in home-owners and landlords insurance, they cater to non-standard and high-value risks across the UK, providing customised insurance solutions to their loyal client base.

This full-time role offers the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement after completing the initial training period. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5:30 pm.

Salary Range: £25,000 to £30,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications), plus a performance-based bonus.

As a Household Insurance Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing your own renewal book of clients. Your key duties will include:

  • Re-broking and placing risks in the market at renewal
  • Conducting thorough annual reviews to ensure clients’ cover remains adequate and up to date
  • Communicating with clients via phone, email, and post
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction to achieve renewal retention targets
  • Leveraging your market knowledge to provide tailored solutions for clients

We’re looking for an individual with a solid background in customer service, excellent communication skills, and strong IT proficiency. You should also be able to manage your time effectively and demonstrate attention to detail.

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in Personal Lines Insurance Broking, specifically within Home/Property Insurance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word
  • A self-motivated approach, with a keen eye for detail and excellent time management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
