We have a brilliant opportunity for an operative to join a team based 7 miles outside of Grantham on a temporary to permanent basis. The role is working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and will be willing to learn and become a multi-skilled ink maker operative.
No previous experience is necessary however a production/manufacturing background is advantageous.
Duties of this role include:
- Mixing of raw inks in accordance with production schedule
- Milling of inks as required by mixing or production schedule
- Blend in accordance with the formulation and instructions as detailed on the job sheet.
- Tinning and packaging of goods in accordance with order and stock requirements
- Ensure all quantities and batch numbers are recorded at all stages of production and are within specification. All applicable test results are recorded on quality control sheets.
- Ensure all products are placed in appropriate Dispatch Bays or suitable stock locations
- Packing of goods for dispatch, ensuring suitable packaging, labelling and paperwork are completed.
- Checks and controls of all products/goods including all relevant documentation and to monitor stock at stipulated intervals.
- Provide support in other areas such as laboratory, warehouse etc. as required.
- Any other task as directed by Line Manager and/or Director
Own transport is essential due to the location of the role.
