In your new roles as a Homelessness Prevention Assistant you will be delivering excellent housing services by providing support to a customer focused, high performing housing options / advice and homelessness prevention service.
In your new role you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of timely and appropriate housing advice. As a Homelessness Prevention Assistant you will be responsible for ensuring accurate records are kept and updating applications. You will be assisting applicants with their applications carrying out interviews and undertaking investigation when required. As the Homelessness Prevention Assistant you will be helping with enquiries and providing appropriate advice. Along with these duties you will also be processing reports, updating spreadsheets and general administrative duties to support the team as required.
Are you are someone who has a good level of computer literacy, good people and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with difficult situations in a non-confrontational and professional way?
We are looking for someone who has experience of general office skills and working in a team environment. Experience of working with a diverse range of vulnerable customers and have knowledge on homelessness legislation and resulting decision making would be beneficial.
