HGV Class 1 Driver (Wagon & Drag – Hook Loader)
Location: Bourne, Lincolnshire
Salary: £14.50 – £16.00 per hour + overtime (x 1.5)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (45 mins unpaid break)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established metal recycling company based in Bourne, seeking an experienced and reliable Class 1 HGV Driver (Wagon & Drag – Hook Loader) to join their growing team.

Role Overview:

Operating Wagon & Drag Hook Loaders to collect scrap metal roll-off bins
Tipping at sites in Bourne, Peterborough, and Boston
Covering routes across Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, and Cambridgeshire
Servicing council depots, factories, farms, and construction sites
Some early starts, late finishes, and occasional Saturday mornings may be required

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 HGV driving experience (essential)
Valid UK Class 1 Driving Licence
Up-to-date Digital Tachograph Card
CPC (Driver Qualification Card)
Experience with hook loaders and wagon & drag highly desirable
