We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has worked on a board, ideally at a corporate level. You must have excellent communication skills and sound understanding of company law and governance.
Your main role will be to support the senior management team and board to design, implement and support the highest quality governance. You will be responsible for managing recruitment, annually reviewing policies and adopting best practice to promote quality governance.
For this role, you must be able to raise difficult issues with senior executives in a meeting environment, identify and recommend improvements to existing processes and have knowledge of current developments and trends in the public sector, social housing and/or local government governance.
This permanent, full time position is paying between £37,890 - £40,876 depending on experience. You will work Monday – Friday but must be willing to work outside of office hours as and when required. This is a hybrid role, although you will need to be in the office for the first week or two for training.
