We are supporting one of the UK's largest flower suppliers in the run up to Valentine's Day by recruiting General Operatives for their state of the art facility located between Peterborough and Huntingdon. The company supply many of the UK's leading retailers with cut flowers, and naturally, February is a busy time of year.
Your role will involve preparing and packing bunched flowers for onward distribition around the UK. That might include creating bouquets, preparing flowers to feed the production line or packing completed bouquets for distribution. You'll need to work quickly but with good attention to detail to ensure the product meets the customer requirements. You'll also need to be physically fit as the role may require you to lift and move products. Training will be provided for all new starters so there is no need for any previous experience.
Shifts consist of 12 hour day and night shifts on a rota covering seven days a week. You'll therefore need to be able to work any day of the week.
Transport is available from Peterborough but the site is very easy to reach from the A1 and has lots of free parking. In addition there is a canteen selling a range of subsidised food.
