We are supporting one of the UK's largest flower suppliers in the run up to Christmas by recruiting General Operatives for their state-of-the-art facility located between Peterborough and Huntingdon. The company supplies many of the UK's leading retailers with cut flowers.
General Operatives' role will involve preparing and packing bunched flowers for onward distribution around the UK. That might include creating bouquets, preparing flowers to feed the production line, or packing completed bouquets for distribution. You'll need to work quickly but with good attention to detail to ensure the product meets the customer requirements. You'll also need to be physically fit as the role may require you to lift and move products. Training will be provided for all new starters so there is no need for any previous experience.
Shifts consist of 12 hour day and night shifts on a rota covering seven days a week. You will start your work at 7am or 7pm.
Transport is available from Peterborough, but the site is very easy to reach from the A1 and has lots of free parking. In addition, there is a canteen selling a range of subsidised food.
