We are looking for a qualified and experienced Manager within our clients manufacturing facility in Bottesford, Nottinghamshire.
As a Factory Manager, you will take responsibility for the manufacture, engineering maintenance, planning and management of all production functions to ensure that orders are executed correctly within defined budgets, and delivered on time in accordance with specification and quality requirements.
The ideal candidate will have worked in a manufacturing environment and possess technical competence, and commercial insight. Have an aptitude for effective communication, motivating, planning and delivering on agreed Company objectives, able to work independently and contribute as a key member of the management team.
In addition, you will be a team player, have strong people and management skills, excellent organisation and communication skills, and be a competent IT user.
It would be desirable for candidates to have an Engineering based qualification and experience of working in a Production/Manufacturing or Oil, Gas/power environment, with particular understanding of engineering and workshop machinery. The role will include interpreting and understanding engineering drawings/specifications, and manufacturing documentation, so experience of understanding CAD drawings and software would be beneficial.
