Customer Administrator (Immediate Start)

Location: Huntingdon (4 days office-based, 1 day from home)
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday (between 7:00am – 5:30pm)
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Type: Full-time, ongoing temporary role

We’re looking for a Customer Administrator to join a fast-paced and dynamic operations team in Peterborough. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys multitasking, and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency.

You’ll play a key part in supporting the Key Customer Coordinator and wider team — ensuring smooth daily operations, first-class customer service, and accurate data management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Key Customer Coordinator with day-to-day administrative and organisational tasks.
  • Maintain and update internal systems, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
  • Manage driver and vehicle bookings, prepare information for invoicing, and reconcile daily records.
  • Verify booking details to ensure compliance and completeness.
  • File and organise key documentation, including driver paperwork, test results, and certificates.
  • Raise purchase orders and handle general admin tasks such as scheduling, filing, and correspondence.
  • Respond to stakeholder and haulier queries efficiently and professionally.
  • Manage emails and phone calls within agreed service levels.
  • Uphold data confidentiality and GDPR compliance at all times.

About You:

  • Previous experience in administration, logistics, or data management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Confident using IT systems and managing multiple tasks.
