Our client, a well-established engineering business based in Grantham, is currently looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position within a small, skilled team of three CNC Machinists, offering a strong work–life balance and competitive pay.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 5:15pm
- Fridays: Off
- Overtime: Occasional Friday overtime available, paid at x1.5
Key Responsibilities
- Setting and operating CNC machines to produce precision components
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications
- Carrying out basic quality checks to ensure high standards are met
- Operating manual machines when required
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
- Confident operating the machines listed above
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, team-oriented approach
