Our client based just outside of Worksop is currently looking for CNC Programmer to join their team.
Your working hours will be:
Monday to Thursday 7.40am -4.20pm
Fri 5.40am- 2.10pm
Your duties will include:
- Using 3 Axis vertical machining centres
- CNC setter, operator and programmer cutting steel/ semi tool steels
- Experience using Fanuc controls
- CAM Offline programming preferred, using OneCNC. Online programming is a bonus but not necessary
- Fully capable of reading engineers’ drawings and checking off their own work against the drawings
- Candidate must be an experienced machinist and capable working on their own. Experience producing one off’s and setting their own fixtures and generating their own programs is preferred.
- Candidates must have experience working with metals
This role will require good attention to detail. You will be required to work on your own after training. Full training and induction provided.
This is a full-time position – temporary to permanent for the right candidates. Overtime is available and this is paid at time and a half.
