Location: Newark

Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 5:00pm (10 hours per week)

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys keeping spaces tidy, and understands the importance of maintaining high hygiene standards within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities

Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and communal areas to a high standard.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, polish, dust, and sanitise all designated areas daily.
Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed.
Follow all Health & Safety, COSHH, and infection control procedures.
Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the Site Manager or Supervisor promptly.
Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are safely stored after use.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism within the school environment.

About You

Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate (Disclosure and Barring Service) – essential for working in a school.
Previous cleaning experience is preferred, ideally in a school or similar environment.
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a strong sense of responsibility.
Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
Friendly, positive attitude with good communication skills.
